Abstract: The embodiment of the invention discloses a resource allocation method and access network equipment. The method comprises the following steps of acquiring a currently-initiated service by the access network equipment, and determining a target parameter corresponding to a service type to which the currently-initiated service belongs by the access network equipment, wherein the target parameter is the ratio of the value of a first data feature to the value of a second data feature of the service type to which the service belongs, and the first data feature and the second data feature are data features related to the quality of the service (QOS); and allocating resources to the service according to the target parameter by means of the access network equipment. The access network equipment canautomatically allocate resources based on the service type to which the service belongs, so that the manual configuration of a user is not needed. Therefore, the efficiency of resource allocation isimproved. The situation that resource configuration is unreasonable due to the manual configuration is reduced. The resource allocation is carried out on the service based on the type of the service.The performance of the network can be optimized.
