Abstract: Basing on the ZigBee localization algorithm which boasting of characteristics of RSSI(received signal strength indicator)algorithm and weighted centroid algorithm,the errors of commonly-used algorithms were analyzed to propose an improved RSSI location algorithm,alias the geometric measurement algorithm,and to apply it to CC2430 wireless microcontroller to design its location nodesThe simulation results show that localization accuracy of improved algorithm can be increased by 3% or so
