Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with processing for handling sync signals of a plurality of patterns through a simple arrangement even when a plurality of transmission bands are prepared SOLUTION: The receiving method is applied when a sync signal of one unit is transmitted repeatedly and there are a plurality of transmission patterns set for every unit and signal polarity patterns of one unit, and has a reception system of a plurality of branches obtaining a reception signal individually On each branch, the reception signal is delayed by a plurality of steps in one unit period, a plurality of reception signals at least at two delay positions are taken out in different combination from the reception signals delayed by a plurality of steps, and reception signals at least at two delay positions in a combination selected depending on a received sync signal pattern are selected among the reception signals in a plurality of combinations Correlation is detected from each reception signal thus selected on each branch, and running average is determined from signals obtained by performing complex multiplication of correlation detection signals on respective branches thus performing sync signal detection COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
