Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an efficient program test by taking the program test by writing the contents of ROM, in which a program has been written, in RAM by using the ROM as a source of loading. CONSTITUTION:When ROM3 in which a program has been written is inserted into socket 7 and start switch 15 is closed, CPU1 starts through the operation of control program memory 2 to transfer the contents of ROM3 to RAM4 and on the end of the transfer, lamp 8 turns on. When RUN switch 16 is closed with the address of a program to be tested set to entry switch 9, CPU, executes the program from an as signed address to start debugging operation. At the same time, lamp 10 turns on. When the program is relocatable, terminal (a) is connected to (c) in switch 17 to place ROM3 in an unselected state and addresses of RAM4 are changed over for debugging.

Nito Masao
- 19 Nov 1992
TL;DR: In this paper, a microprocessor receives a debugging command inputted by an operator from a keyboard 202 in the terminal equipment 200 through a communication interface 118 to execute debugging, and the debugging is executed by allowing the microprocessor 111 to execute a debugging instruction and the program stored in the shadow memory 115.
