Phosphorus Distribution between Soda- and Lime-based Fluxes and Carbon-saturated Iron Melts
Ryo Inoue,Hideaki Suito +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the phosphorus distribution ratios between carbon-saturated iron melts and Na2O-SiO2, Na 2O- SiO2-MO (Mg, Ca, Ba, Mg) and CaF2-CaO and Ca-F2CaO-Al2O3 slags have been obtained as a function of slag compositions and temperatures.
Key insights on the structural characterization of textured Er2O3–ZrO2 nano-oxides prepared by a surfactant-free solvothermal route
Beatriz Julián-López,Verónica de la Luz,Francisco Gonell,Eloisa Cordoncillo,Miguel López-Haro,José J. Calvino,Purificación Escribano +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) has been employed to provide key insights on the structural characterization of a nanometric and porous mixed Er 2 O 3 -ZrO 2 oxide.

Phase equilibrium studies in Si2N2O-containing systems: II. Phase relations in the Si2N2OAl2O3La2O3 and Si2N2OAl2O3CaO systems
TL;DR: In this paper, the sub-solidus phase diagrams of the Si 2 N 2 O and Si 3 N 4 sytems are presented. And the results show that no new compound is found in these two systems, but there exists a continuous cubic solid solution between 3CaO·Si 2 n 2 O·Al 2 O 3 ǫ and 3 CaO·Al O·Si O 2 Oǫ ·Al 2 oǫ 3ǫ in the Si 3 n 4 system.

Thermal properties and devitrification behaviour of (1+x)CaO.(1−x)MgO.2SiO2 glasses
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the mechanism of the devitrification process of diopside-wollastonite glass, and found that the substitution of CaO by MgO induces an increase in Tg and crystal growth activation energy, probably linked to the greater coordination number of Caz+ ions with respect to the Mg2+ ions.

Czochralski growth of diopside (CaMgSi2O6) crystals
TL;DR: In this paper, single crystals of diopside (CaMgSi 2 O 6 ) have been grown by the Czochralski method Optically transparent specimens of about 10×10×8 mm 3 were obtained by cutting and polishing the as-grown boules Chemical analyses showed that the composition of such a specimen was Ca 092 Mg 108 Si 2 O6
