TL;DR: Wainryb et al. as discussed by the authors measured education majors' beliefs about corporal punishment before and after they read about CP research on its effectiveness and side effects, and found that students who changed their behavioral intent regarding whether they would use CP as a parent increased their knowledge about its ineffectiveness, resulting in greater consistency between their moral and informational beliefs.

TL;DR: Morality (cheating), benefit appraisal (performance), and threat appraisal (enforcement) evidenced the strongest relationships with attitude to doping, which in turn was positively associated with doping susceptibility, which appears useful for understanding influences on doping.
