Design of Hybrid Wireless and Power Line Sensor Networks With Dual-Interface Relay in IoT
Yuwen Qian,Jiahui Yan,Haibing Guan,Jun Li,Xiangwei Zhou,Shengjie Guo,Dushantha Nalin K. Jayakody +6 more
TL;DR: A relay equipped with a dual wireless and PLC interface, which connects both the PLC and wireless sensors into an IoT network and can significantly improve the performance of capacity, BER, and outage probability by adaptively selecting the interface with the optimal received SNR.

Power Allocation and Performance of Multiuser Mixed RF/FSO Relay Networks With Opportunistic Scheduling and Outdated Channel Information
TL;DR: The performance of a multiuser mixed radio frequency (RF)/free space optical (FSO) relay network with transmit opportunistic scheduling with outdated channel information is studied and a power allocation scheme is proposed for optimizing the overall system performance.

Two-Way Relaying in Interference-Limited AF Cooperative Networks Over Nakagami- $m$ Fading
TL;DR: This paper investigates the outage performance of dual-hop amplify-and-forward (AF) two-way relaying systems with multiple co-channel interferers at the AF relay and two noisy end-sources and derives a highly precise, easy-to-compute closed-form approximate expression for the outage probability.

Two-way multiuser mixed RF/FSO relaying: performance analysis and power allocation
TL;DR: The results show that the TWR scheme almost doubles the network ergodic capacity compared to that of the OWR scheme with the same outage performance, and it is shown that under weak-to-moderate weather turbulence conditions and small pointing error, the outage probability is dominated by the RF downlink with a neglected effect for the user selection process at the RF uplink transmission.

Artificial-Noise-Aided Transmission in Multi-Antenna Relay Wiretap Channels With Spatially Random Eavesdroppers
TL;DR: In this article, a relay-aided secure transmission scheme was proposed, in which a source communicates with a destination through a trusted decode-and-forward relay in the presence of spatially random-distributed non-colluding eavesdroppers.

Capacity of Multi‐antenna Gaussian Channels
Emre Telatar
- 01 Nov 1999
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the use of multiple transmitting and/or receiving antennas for single user communications over the additive Gaussian channel with and without fading, and derive formulas for the capacities and error exponents of such channels, and describe computational procedures to evaluate such formulas.
