Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication network that reduces a load on a path by providing a redundant path for a failure of which a sign can be captured and quickly carries out failure avoidance at a time of the occurrence of the failure.SOLUTION: A path redundancy device of a communication network of the present invention includes: an information collection unit for collecting communication information on a path connected with a relay device from the relay device in the network; a path monitoring unit for identifying an overloaded path on the basis of the communication information and designating a redundant path for the overloaded path on the basis of the communication information; and a path control unit for giving the relay device instructions to set the redundant path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
