Abstract: The invention relates to a parameter configuration method for a distribution network automation terminal device. Compared with the prior art, the parameter configuration method overcomes the defect that the universality of a parameter configuration method of the distribution network automation terminal device is poor. The parameter configuration method includes the steps that terminal configuration parameters are read, and an upper computer (5) reads the terminal configuration parameters from a main microprocessor (3) through an Ethernet communication module (4); the terminal configuration parameters are downloaded, and the upper computer (5) sends the terminal configuration parameters to the distribution network automation terminal device through the Ethernet communication module (4). The parameter configuration method is applicable to various distribution network automation terminal devices, parameter maintenance is convenient and reliable, the universality of a maintenance method is improved, repeated researching and developing of the terminal parameter configuration method are avoided, and efficiency is improved.
