Endodontic treatment of a hypertaurodont mandibular second molar: a case report.
TL;DR: A 28-year old patient was referred for endodontic treatment of his left mandibular second molar after his chief complaint was spontaneous pain in left posterior region of mandible, indicating hypertaurodontism.
Periostitis Ossificans Arising in the Mandibular Bone of a Young Patient: Report of an Unusual Case and Review of the Literature.
TL;DR: In this article, the authors described an unusual case of periostitis ossificans arising from the mandible of an 11-year-old boy, which was correlated with a lower right unerupted third molar, which had no obvious connection with the oral cavity.

Establishment of sexual dimorphism in North Indian population by odontometric study of permanent maxillary canine
TL;DR: There was sexual dimorphism in mesiodistal diameter and inter-canine width of permanent maxillary canine teeth as well as inter- canine width in north Indian population.
Cysts of the “Oro-Maxillofacial Region”
Neelima Malik
- 01 Jan 2021
TL;DR: Various odontogenic and nonodontogenic cysts and their treatment aspect are discussed in detail in this chapter.
Osteonecrosis of the jaws: what the physician needs to know: practical considerations.
Khaled Abughazaleh,Nadia Kawar +1 more
TL;DR: Of practical concern to the primary care physician and are 2 forms of osteonecrosis that every physician should be aware off, able to predict, possibly prevent, and aid in management of; these are osteoradionecrosis and bisphosphonate-related oste onecrosis of the jaws.

p53 mutations in human cancers
TL;DR: The p53 mutational spectrum differs among cancers of the colon, lung, esophagus, breast, liver, brain, reticuloendothelial tissues, and hemopoietic tissues as mentioned in this paper.

Identification of herpesvirus-like DNA sequences in AIDS-associated Kaposi's sarcoma
Yuan Chang,Ethel Cesarman,Melissa S. Pessin,Frank Lee,Janice Culpepper,Daniel M. Knowles,Patrick S. Moore +6 more
TL;DR: unique sequences present in more than 90 percent of Kaposi's sarcoma tissues obtained from patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) appear to define a new human herpesvirus.
The E6 oncoprotein encoded by human papillomavirus types 16 and 18 promotes the degradation of p53
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that the E6 proteins of the oncogenic HPVs that bind p53 stimulate the degradation of p53, which results in selective degradation of cellular proteins such as p53 with negative regulatory functions provides a novel mechanism of action for dominant-acting oncoproteins.

Mutations in the p53 Tumor Suppressor Gene: Clues to Cancer Etiology and Molecular Pathogenesis
TL;DR: The p53 tumor suppressor gene has become a paradigm in cancer research because it is commonly mutated in human cancer and the spectrum of p53 mutations in these cancers is providing clues to the etiology and molecular pathogenesis of neoplasia as discussed by the authors.

Kaposi's Sarcoma–Associated Herpesvirus-Like DNA Sequences in AIDS-Related Body-Cavity–Based Lymphomas
TL;DR: A high degree of conservation of KSHV sequences in Kaposi's sarcoma and in the eight lymphomas suggests the presence of the same agent in both lesions, suggesting that a novel herpesvirus has a pathogenic role in AIDS-related body-cavity-based lymphomas.
