Abstract: 2 Abstract: The bacterial isolates including Bacillus subtilis, Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus licheniformis isolated from different wastes were screened for protease enzyme production. Among the different sources glucose was found to be best carbon source for all the four Bacillus isolates. Yeast extract was found to be the optimum nitrogen source for protease enzyme production by all the test isolates. A temperature of 50°C was found to be optimum for all the isolates for enzyme production. Soy cake found to be the best substrate for enzyme production among different agro based wastes for all the four test isolates grown under submerged fermentation conditions.

TL;DR: Evaluation of extracellular alkaline proteases from Bacillus amyloliquefaciens, B. siamensis, B. subtilis, and B. velezensis reveals optimal production conditions and potential applications in detergents.
Production of Industrial Applicable Enzymes from Rhizopus Oryzae through Response Surface Methodology
TL;DR: Production of industrial enzymes from Rhizopus oryzae through SSF is a promising technique for utilizing agricultural wastes and optimizing enzyme production. The study revealed maximum enzyme activities using 100% moisture contents, temperature 25ºC, pH 5, substrate concentrations 12g and inoculum size of 6 mL.

Umar Khalid,Zill-e-Huma Aftab,Tehmina Anjum,Najat A. Bokhari,Waheed Akram,Waheed Anwar +5 more
TL;DR: Bradyrhizobium japonicum (FCBP-SB-406) exhibits significant biocontrol potential against charcoal rot of soybean, enhancing growth and controlling soil-borne pathogens.
Strain improvement of aspergillus flavus for enhanced production of alkaline protease enzyme
M. Roja Rani
- 01 Jan 2012
TL;DR: Results revealed that alkaline protease activity assay under submerged culture conditions was more accurate than the relative growth production (C/G) method because there is no correlation between zone diameter and the ability to produce the enzyme in submerged cultures.
