Abstract: The invention provides a non-codebook-precoding-based transmission method for a multi-input multi-output (MIMO) system, which comprises the following steps that: a transmitting end acquires the channel information of the previous time by using feedback or specific channel reciprocity of a time division duplexing (TDD) system, acquires a unitary matrix Q and a lower triangular matrix L in which elements on a diagonal are arranged in a descending order of the probability by performing sequential LQ decoding (SLQD) operation on the channel information, and then finishes precoding of transmission signals and a pilot frequency; the receiving end performs channel estimation on the pilot frequency signal which finishes precoding, acquires the lower triangular matrix L in which elements on a diagonal are arranged in a descending order of the probability, which is obtained after the transmitting end performs the SLQD, processes the received signal by a successive interference cancellation (SIC) technology, eliminates interference of some layer of sub-channel signals from the front layers of sub-channels, and finishes data stream detection of each sub-channel layer by layer. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the MIMO sub-channel detection performance of the receiving end is efficiently improved and the complexity of the processing operation of the receiving end is reduced.
