Modeling solubilities of subcritical and supercritical fluids in polymers with cubic and non-cubic equations of state
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the performance of the statistical associating fluid theory (CK-SAFT), Perturbed-Chain SAFT, Sanchez-Lacombe (SL), and Sako-Wu-Prausnitz (SWP) equations of state (EoS) to model the solubilities of subcritical and supercritical fluids such as N2, C2H4, C4H10, iso-C4H 10, CO2 in molten, thermally softened or semicrystalline polymers.

The CH3CO quantum yield in the 248 nm photolysis of acetone, methyl ethyl ketone, and biacetyl
Balla Rajakumar,Balla Rajakumar,Tomasz Gierczak,Tomasz Gierczak,Jonathan E. Flad,Jonathan E. Flad,A. R. Ravishankara,James B. Burkholder +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors reported measurements of the CH3CO quantum yield, Φ C H 3 CO, following the 248-nm pulsed laser photolysis of acetone (CH3C(O)CH3), methyl ethyl ketone, and biacetyl.

A new microebulliometer for the measurement of the vapor–liquid equilibrium of ionic liquid systems
Pedro J. Carvalho,Imran Khan,António P. Morais,José F.O. Granjo,Nuno M.C. Oliveira,Luís M. N. B. F. Santos,João A. P. Coutinho +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a new isobaric microebulliometer, operating at pressures ranging from 0.05 to 0.1 MPa and requiring a sample volume lower than 8 mL was developed and validated.

In Situ Monitoring of Silicon Plasma Etching Using a Quantum Cascade Laser Arrangement
TL;DR: In this article, concentrations of the precursor gas NF3 and of the etch product SiF4 are measured online and in situ using a new diagnostic arrangement, the Q-MACS Etch system, which is based on quantum cascade laser absorption spectroscopy (QCLAS).

Flame Retardancy of PA6 Using a Guanidine Sulfamate/Melamine Polyphosphate Mixture
Mathieu Coquelle,Sophie Duquesne,Mathilde Casetta,Jun Sun,Xiaoyu Gu,Sheng Zhang,Serge Bourbigot +6 more
TL;DR: Guanidine sulfamate (GAS) and melamine polyphosphate (MPP) were used as flame retardants for polyamide 6 in this article, which showed a decrease of the peak of the heat release rate by 30% compared to pure PA6 using only 5 wt% of a GAS/MPP mixture.
