TL;DR: Experimental results from a case study of a 5-zone building have shown that the proposed method is able to find the optimal model order, and the building models built by the proposed methods can achieve 1-3% average errors and less than 10-18% maximum errors for the estimation of zone temperatures for about a one year period.

Recovery of the inherent dynamics of noise-driven amplifier flows
TL;DR: This study presents an alternative data-driven technique which attempts to identify and separate the intrinsic linear stable behaviour from the driving term of noise amplifier flows, and advocates the use of the frequency response between the upstream sensor and the flow dynamics, which is revealed to be a robust quantity.

Reduced-order control using low-rank dynamic mode decomposition
TL;DR: In this article, a model reduction method called low-rank dynamic mode decomposition (lrDMD) is proposed to solve for a rank-constrained linear representation of the dynamical system.
