Abstract: The invention discloses a multifunctional non-toxic water-based rust-proof cutting fluid applicable to machining of metals for a vehicle, a mill, a drill and the like. The multifunctional non-toxic water-based rust-proof cutting fluid is prepared from a water-soluble organic antirust agent, a borate water-based lubricating agent, borax, benzoate, EDTA-2Na, benzotriazole, a defoaming agent and water. The multifunctional non-toxic water-based rust-proof cutting fluid is simple in technology, easy to prepare and good in biostability, has excellent rust-proof lubricating property, can meet middle or short term interprocess rust-proof requirement and is biodegradable, non-toxic to the environment and pollution-free, so that the multifunctional non-toxic water-based rust-proof cutting fluid is a green product.
