Abstract: This invention is for enhancing the internal combustion engine's mechanical efficiency which has multifunctional crank-drive, and/or five cycles The multifunctional crank-drive that one or two gears are placed on the auxiliary tappet One end of the auxiliary tappet (15) is linked to the crankshaft (1), on the other end, a slide (11)reciprocates in the valve-guide (9) equipped with camshaft (7) The invention can have five cycles also, the device's purpose is the setting of; the induction period, the piston diameter, the stroke ratio and the opening-closing of the induction valves so that the engine has five cycles for every double turn of the crankshaft (7200) Induction, evacuation, compression, expansion, and exhaustion Over a half-turn of the crankshaft (1800) the engine has the induction cycle and the evacuation cycle The induction cycle and the evacuation cycle can have different lenghts and be made variable
