Cristina Vittucci,Paolo Ferrazzoli,Y. H. Kerr,P. Richaume,Leila Guerriero,G. Vaglio Laurin +5 more
- 10 Jul 2016
TL;DR: In this work, vegetation optical depth products for July 2015, obtained over forests by the last 620 version of the SMOS retrieval algorithm, are considered and tested, and a comparison with three independent remote sensing datasets, containing forest height, forest biomass and Leaf Area Index (LAI) respectively, are presented.

Numerical Study of the Spatiotemporally-Varying Background Ionospheric Effects on P-Band Satellite SAR Imaging
Zhen Xu,Kun-Shan Chen +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the effects of the spatiotemporally varying background ionosphere on the imaging performance of the P-band spaceborne SAR are systematically evaluated.
Object Segmentation Using Polarization Random Feature in Passive Millimeter-Wave Imaging
Yayun Cheng,Wu Hao,Xinyang Ren,Nannan Wang,Jiaran Qi,Jinghui Qiu +5 more
TL;DR: A physically-based object segmentation method using polarization random features is proposed for passive millimeter-wave imaging, leveraging the angle of polarization's sensitivity to object polarization characteristics for effective segmentation in complex scenes.
