Geochemistry and Petrography of Organic Matter in Northwest African Continental Margin Sediments: Quantity, Provenance, Depositional Environment and Temperature History
Jürgen Rullkötter,Christopher Cornford,Dietrich Hugo Welte +2 more
- 01 Jan 1982
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of organic geochemical and organic petrographic analyses of sediments fron deep sea drilling sites on the Northwest African continental nargin were synthesized. But the results were not used to classify the sediments according to their differing hydrocarbon potentials.

Reconstructing the evolution of the latest Pennsylvanian-earliest Permian Lake Odernheim based on stable isotope geochemistry and palynofacies: A case study from the Saar-Nahe Basin, Germany
TL;DR: In this paper, a succession of evolutionary stages can be distinguished based on variable carbonate carbon (−5 to + 2 ) and oxygen (−7 to + 5 ) isotopic compositions of dolomite.

Extractable aromatic hydrocarbons in a short-term organic cycle of the Kimmeridge Clay formation, Yorkshire (U.K.): relationship to primary production and thermal maturity
TL;DR: In this article, seven core samples from a 120 cm section of the Kimmeridge Clay formation, Cleveland Basin, north-eastern England, comprising a short-term organic cycle were analyzed for extractable aromatic compounds.
