Abstract: A method for switching a data service card, comprising: receiving a data service card switching instruction input by a user (S101); judging whether a second data service card and a first data service card belong to the same operator (S102); if the cards do not belong to the same operator, switching a radio frequency parameter currently used by a terminal into a radio frequency parameter of an operator to which the second data service card belongs (S103); switching logical card slots of the second data service card and the first data service card to implement protocol stack switching, and setting the second data service card to be a primary card and the first data service card to be a secondary card (S104); and crossly setting a dedicated data user according to a current primary and secondary card relationship between the second data service card and the first data service card to enable the second data service card to support a packet switching service (S105). Further disclosed is a terminal on which a data service card is switched. In the case where terminal hardware is not changed, a data service card of a terminal can be simply and conveniently switched.
