Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of tamper-resistant bi-directional data communication between a minimum of a first and a second transceiver through a radio data transmission path, are mutually transmitted in both transmission directions in the modulated by information carrying data content radio signals, in particular between vehicle base units and mobile ID transmitters of Passive -entry systems of motor vehicles. To increase the manipulation safety, the inventive method proposes that the carrier frequency of the radio signals is varied with time and synchronized between the transceivers.

Method for controlling user authorization
Fromm Michael
- 11 Dec 2003
TL;DR: In this paper, a method for controlling user authorization for motor vehicles between a transceiver device that is located on the motor vehicle side and a mobile identifier is described, which is characterized by the fact that the data protocol is transmitted on the same hop along with at least one additional code which is different from the first code.

Method for carrying out a keyless access authorisation check and keyless access authorisation check device
Detlev Kramer,Volker Pretzlaff,Rainer Vens,Paul Vogels,Michael Fromm,Dirk Wolf,Peter Raab +6 more
- 19 Aug 1999
TL;DR: In this paper, a keyless access authorisation check is carried out by means of wireless communication between a transceiver unit allocated to a base station and a mobile identification transmitter, in order to check that the person carrying the ID transmitter is authorized to gain access.

A security system
Christopher Richard Bottomley,Jeremy John Greenwood,Kevin Talbot +2 more
- 17 Sep 2001
TL;DR: In this article, a security system consisting of a passive entry and passive re-mobilisation system is described. But the security system is not suitable for use in a vehicle and the security controller transmits a command signal LCs to a remote transponder, which replies with an LF response signal LRs.

- 06 Nov 1997
TL;DR: In this article, a central locking system of a motor vehicle is provided with communication between the transmitter of the remote actuation unit and the receiver of the central locking systems in a frequency-hopping spread spectrum mode where M channels are used of a total of N channels of the spread spectrum frequency band chosen, for example, an I/S/M band of 433 MHz to 435 MHz.

Activation and/or deactivation system for a security device, in particular for a vehicle
Buerger Torsten
- 29 Jan 2003
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors proposed a frequency band widening and frequency band narrowing (FBCN) scheme, where in a transmitting system (1), a bandwidth of the carrier frequency (f0) of the coded data is increased before the transmitting of the transmitted data.
