Abstract: The present invention provides a method for processing expense splitting using a network message service, a computing device readable storage medium, and a computing device. The method comprising thesteps of: (a) receiving media data comprising at least one of picture, video, and audio data; (b) performing identity recognition on the media data; (c) specifying, by the network messaging service, at least with the identification result data of the identity identification performed in step (b), at least one identified user to be split in fee; and (d) sending at least one splitting request to theat least one identified user of the to-be-split expense through the network message service to request the at least one identified user of the to-be-split expense to split the expense.
