Abstract: The invention provides a method for indicating multiple access. The method comprises the following steps that: if a policy and charging control (PCC) client knows that user equipment (UE) is the multiple access, the PCC client sends a Diameter session message to a policy and charging rule function (PCRF), wherein the message carries an indication that the UE is the multiple access; and the PCRF analyzes the Diameter session message to obtain the indication of the multiple access. The method ensures that the PCRF can execute correct flow, and realize that various service data streams are transmitted on access connections where the service data streams are most suitable to be transmitted.
