Abstract: A method for detecting a transmission signal by applying a division and detection scheme and a device thereof are provided to reduce calculation complexity for the signal detection while guaranteeing performance in detecting the signal whose strength is more than a set value by considering calculation amount for the performance in detecting the signal in an MIMO(Multiple Input Multiple Output) system. A device of a method for detecting a transmission signal by applying a division and detection scheme comprises a QR decomposition unit(100), a vector calculation unit(200), a division unit(300) and a detection unit(400). The QR decomposition unit(100) performs a resorted QR decomposition scheme for a matrix(B) which expresses a channel state, and obtains a unitary matrix(Q) and an upper triangle matrix(R). The vector calculation unit(200) multiplies a transpose of the unitary matrix(Q) by a received signal and calculates a vector. The division unit(300) divides the upper triangle matrix, inputted from the QR decomposition unit(100), into plural sub upper triangle matrixes, and also divides the vector, inputted from the vector calculation unit(200) in accordance with the divided plural sub upper triangle matrixes. The detection unit(400) detects mesh points in accordance with each divided sub vectors by using the plural sub upper triangle matrixes.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a matrix inversion obtaining method in an MMSE detection method consisting of S1 setting a target inversion matrix A=D+E, wherein D is a diagonal matrix only containing the diagonal elements of a matrix A, E is a matrix of which the diagonal element are all zero, and the elements at other positions are totally same as the elements of the matrix A. The method of the present invention has the advantages of being simple in principle, being easy to realize, being able to reduce the complexity and improve the calculation efficiency, etc.
