Abstract: The invention discloses a method and a device for processing multimedia information The method includes receiving multimedia information transmitted by a video playing terminal, judging whether a user logging in any video playing terminal currently is the user who watches the multimedia information before, if yes, transmitting the multimedia information to the video playing terminal which the user logs currently to watch the multimedia information The video playing terminal which the user logs currently can be different from a video playing terminal logged before, the starting time of playing the multimedia information is the finishing time of the last playing when the video playing terminal plays the multimedia information, and accordingly, continuous playing of the multimedia information among different video playing terminals can be realized
