Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a segment in an arbitrary oblique direction at a high speed by route search only in vertical and horizontal directions. SOLUTION: An obstacle deformation processing part 10 deforms the area, which can obliquely pass between obstacles 1A and 1B, to a deformed passage area Fa, which segments in vertical and horizontal directions can pass, before the start of route search. Next, a route search part 14 searches a route, which only segments in vertical and horizontal directions pass, with respect to the deformed passage area Fa obtained by the obstacle deformation processing part 10. Finally, a pattern shaping processing part 16 uses segments in the oblique direction to shape the route which is obtained by the route search part 14 and consists of segments in vertical and horizontal directions.
