Optical Properties and Growth Dynamics of Oxides on Single Crystal AIN
Jacob Bugno,Sujit Biswas +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors focused on optical properties of AIN as well as native oxide properties of single crystal AIN, and calculated the best fit parameters for the oxide thickness and refractive index using a theoretical model.
Analysis of thermal shock resistance of CVD ZnS dome
Daijun Zhang,Haibo Luo,Peipei Zhou,Xinglin Hou +3 more
- 01 Nov 2016
TL;DR: In this paper, the thermal shock resistance of CVD ZnS dome is analyzed based on the flight condition of 6000m altitude and 30 Mach, and the authors obtained the critical Reynolds number through a rockets pry experiment, which deduced that there exists a transition from laminar flow to turbulent flow at somewhere over the dome.
Thermal imaging through hot emissive windows
Ciril S. Prasad,Henry O. Everitt,Gururaj V. Naik +2 more
TL;DR: Researchers develop an infrared metasurface coating for hot windows, enabling thermal imaging by suppressing thermal emission towards cameras while maintaining transparency, doubling thermal imaging contrast compared to uncoated windows at the same temperature.
Synthesis of Nanocrystalline Yttrium Oxide and Evolution of Morphology and Microstructure during Thermal Decomposition of Y2(C2O4)3·10H2O
TL;DR: In this paper , a study of the morphology and evolution of the microstructure during thermal decomposition of Y2(C2O4)3·10H2O was conducted, and the stages and factors having the greatest impact on particle size and specific surface area were identified.
XUV Output Coupler and XUV/IR Grazing-Incidence Beam Splitter
Oleg Pronin
- 01 Jan 2014
TL;DR: In this article, a grazing-incidence plate (GIP) is proposed to find a solution for the problem of separating the XUV and the driving field inside the enhancement cavity.
