TL;DR: In this article, a master slave network computer (NC) server group self-organizing method was proposed, where servers would self-organized to server group according to the following steps: starting a process that takes responsibility of detecting the information from other server; if there is no heartbeat information during several times of heartbeat time span, the server is seemed as MNCS and starting to broadcast heartbeat information to network by a fixed heartbeat span, and detecting the serve request of NC; else, itself would be seemed as SNCS, and start detecting serve request from NC.

Abstract: The invention relates to a master slave network computer (NC) server group self-organizing method. NC and servers randomly are distributed in the computer network. A broadcast can reach all the server on network belongs to the same server group, which includes a main NC server and several slave NC server. Servers would self-organized to server group according to the following steps: starting a process that takes responsibility of detecting the information from other server; if there is no heartbeat information during several times of heartbeat time span, the server is seemed as MNCS and starting to broadcast heartbeat information to network by a fixed heartbeat span, and detecting the serve request of NC; else, itself would be seemed as SNCS and start detecting serve request from NC. When SNCS received a heartbeat signal of MNCS, it sends a reply signal. If the first time MNCS receives the reply signal, it adds the SNCS into group. MNCS would dynamic maintain the state information of server group according to the state information in reply signal from SNCS.
