Abstract: Effektive und effiziente Instandhaltungsprozesse sind fur produzierende Firmen ein wichtiger Faktor fur den Geschaftserfolg. Bei verfugbarkeits- und ergebnisorientierten Geschaftsmodellen ist es fur den IPSS-Anbieter essentiell, dass die eingesetzten Maschinen und Anlagen effektiv und effizient gewartet und repariert werden, um eine hohe Verfugbarkeit zu erhalten und somit Planungssicherheit zu garantieren. Fur einen nachhaltigen Erfolg von Firmen, die zukunftig vermehrt mit IPSS-Geschaftsmodellen arbeiten wollen, ist diese Exzellenz in der Instandhaltung noch wichtiger als fur die traditionell agierende Konkurrenz.
