Liquid composition of chlorosulfonated polyolefin

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid composition of a chlorosulfonated polyolefin crosslinkable even at a low temperature. SOLUTION: The liquid composition of chlorosulfonated polyolefin contains a chlorosulfonated polyolefin having a sulfur content of ≥0.4 wt.% and an organic compound to give a liquid composition having a Mooney viscosity of ≥100 measured by the following Mooney viscosity measuring method. Method for the measurement of Mooney viscosity is as follows. A sample obtained by the roll-kneading (in conformity to JIS-K 6299 (2001)) of 100 pts.wt. of a chlorosulfonated polyethylene (TOSO-CSM(R) TS-530, product of Tosoh Corporation, having a chlorine content of 35 wt.%, a sulfur content of 1.0 wt.% and a Mooney viscosity of 56) with 4 pts.wt. of magnesium oxide (Kyowamag (R) 150, product of Kyowa Chemical Industry. Co. Ltd.) and 5 pts.wt. of the organic compound is used to measure the Mooney viscosity in conformity to JIS-K 6300 (2001) with type L rotor at 100°C. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
