Abstract: El presente trabajo consiste en una revision teorica y en la construccion, mediante induccion analitica, de un modelo que establece relaciones estructurales entre los estilos de liderazgo, el proceso de toma de decisiones estrategicas y la eficacia de la organizacion. Bajo esta perspectiva se elabora una propuesta integradora. Para lograr construir dicho modelo integrador se efectua una revision bibliografica que permite analizar que es el liderazgo, los tipos de liderazgos existentes, y su vinculacion con el proceso de direccion estrategica. De la revision bibliografica se concluye que no existe una propuesta integradora que permita establecer una perspectiva global de la relacion entre liderazgo-proceso de toma de decisiones-eficacia. En consecuencia, se construye un modelo que relaciona el estilo de liderazgo con la racionalidad, la politizacion, la flexibilidad, la justicia procesal, y el conflicto en la toma de decisiones estrategicas, indicando su influencia sobre el diseno e implementacion de la estrategia.
