In silico methods for metabolomic and toxicity prediction of zearalenone, α-zearalenone and β-zearalenone.
TL;DR: The metabolomics profile of ZEA, α-Zel and β-ZEL analyzed by in silico programs predicts alteration of systems/pathways/mechanisms that ends up causing several toxic effects, giving an excellent sight and direct studies before starting in vitro or in vivo assays contributing to 3Rs principle; however, confirmation can be only demonstrated by performing those assays.

Occurrence of mycotoxins in commercial aquafeeds in Asia and Europe: a real risk to aquaculture?
TL;DR: The risk of co-occurrence is high and the knowledge on the effects of multimycotoxins contamination in aquatic species is basically none, so the level of detected levels in aquafeeds in 2014 is compared with possible negative effects in fish and shrimp.

Citrinin and endosulfan induced teratogenic effects in Wistar rats.
TL;DR: The occurrence of fetal gross, skeletal and visceral malformations was more severe in the combination group, suggesting an additive interaction of CIT and endosulfan in inducing developmental toxicity in Wistar rats.

Developmental toxicity and estrogenic potency of zearalenone in zebrafish (Danio rerio).
Katalin Bakos,Róbert Kovács,Ádám Staszny,Dóra Kánainé Sipos,Béla Urbányi,Ferenc Müller,Zsolt Csenki,Balázs Kovács +7 more
TL;DR: Developmental defects reveal that besides direct estrogenic effects, zearalenone might interact with other ontogenic pathways, that is close to levels observed in wastewaters.

Evaluation of anaesthetic protocols for laboratory adult zebrafish (Danio rerio).
TL;DR: The P+L combination was shown to provide good anaesthesia with analgesia, without causing a major respiratory depression, providing as well a quick recovery, similar to MS-222.
Presence of mycotoxins in Tunisian infant foods samples and subsequent risk assessment
TL;DR: A study on a set of cereal and cereal-based products intended for infant consumption was performed to determine the natural presence of twenty different mycotoxins by both liquid chromatography and gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry (MS/MS) as discussed by the authors.
