TL;DR: In 28 Dorsett sheep, ligation of the distal homonymous and second diagonal coronary arteries produced a constant transmural infarct of 22.9% +/- 2.5% of the left ventricular mass, which indicated that adjacent noninfarcted myocardium participates in the formation of the aneurysm.
