TL;DR: Although Berkinblit et al. suggest that the frog may be able to solve on-line the general tensorial transformation to correct for body posture, there do not seem to be nearly enough data regarding the accuracy, reproducibility, and range of postures and targets to reject the null hypothesis that the spinal cord contains a few clever but simple programs.
