Styrene–butadiene rubber/lead oxide composites as gamma radiation shields
TL;DR: In this article, composites of styrene-butadiene rubber were prepared with three different types of lead oxide, namely, monolead oxide (PbO), lead dioxide and red lead oxide.

Subcutaneous polymeric matrix system p(HEMA-BGA) for controlled release of an anticancer drug (5-fluorouracil). II: Release kinetics.
TL;DR: A subcutaneous polymeric drug delivery system, which consists of a polymeric matrix of poly(hydroxyethyl methacrylate-bisglycol acrylate), was developed and 5-fluorouracil was used as the model anticancer drug.

Glycine's Radiolytic Destruction in Ices: First In-Situ Laboratory Measurements for Mars
TL;DR: In this article, the half-life of glycine under the surface of Mars is estimated as an extrapolation of this data set to Martian conditions, and trends in decay rates are described as are applications to Mars's near-surface chemistry.

Atomic hydrogen as high-precision field standard for high-field EPR.
TL;DR: Atomic hydrogen trapped in an octaisobutylsilsesquioxane nanocage (H@iBuT₈) is introduced as a new molecular high-precision magnetic field standard for high-field EPR spectroscopy of organic radicals and other systems with signals around g=2.00294(3) and can be easily prepared and stable at room temperature.
