Abstract: For Localizing Wireless Sensor Networks nodes,this paper provides a improved centroid localization algorithm base on RSSI ranging and triangle centroid location algorithm. This algorithm is simple and less communication is needed,it can effectively reduce the impact of positioning error witch cause by error of RSSI ranging. The simulation shows that this algorithm is effective and posses higher positioning accuracy under the same conditions than maximum likelihood estimation algorithm.
