A Marketplace for Data: An Algorithmic Solution
Anish Agarwal,Munther A. Dahleh,Tuhin Sarkar +2 more
- 17 Jun 2019
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors propose a data marketplace, a robust real-time matching mechanism to efficiently buy and sell training data for machine learning tasks, and propose a new notion of "fairness" required for cooperative games with freely replicable goods.

Current trends in medical image registration and fusion
TL;DR: The paper presents a description of the common diagnostic images along with the main characteristics of each of them and the current challenges associated with working with medical image registration and fusion through illustrating the recent diseases/disorders that were addressed through such an analyzing process.

Distinctive Image Features from Scale-Invariant Keypoints
TL;DR: This paper presents a method for extracting distinctive invariant features from images that can be used to perform reliable matching between different views of an object or scene and can robustly identify objects among clutter and occlusion while achieving near real-time performance.
Textural Features for Image Classification
Robert M. Haralick,K. Shanmugam,Its'hak Dinstein +2 more
- 01 Nov 1973
TL;DR: These results indicate that the easily computable textural features based on gray-tone spatial dependancies probably have a general applicability for a wide variety of image-classification applications.

A theory for multiresolution signal decomposition: the wavelet representation
TL;DR: In this paper, it is shown that the difference of information between the approximation of a signal at the resolutions 2/sup j+1/ and 2 /sup j/ (where j is an integer) can be extracted by decomposing this signal on a wavelet orthonormal basis of L/sup 2/(R/sup n/), the vector space of measurable, square-integrable n-dimensional functions.
