Abstract: Definition Human-centered computing (HCC) is an emerging, interdisciplinary academic field broadly concerned with computing and computational artifacts as they relate to the human condition. HCC consists of a set of methodologies for designing, implementing, and deploying computing in any field that uses computing in any form. The definition of HCC is purposely broad, and this reflects the view that computing plays an active and crucial role in a huge number of human activities.
