TL;DR: In this article, a generalized measurement can be constructed which performs this task better than any combination of standard quantum measurements, and it is shown that the generalized measurement performs better than a combination of quantum measurements.

Coherence, Interference and Visibility
TL;DR: In this article, it is argued that quantum coherence can be construed as a more general form of interference visibility, if the visibility is measured in a different manner, and not as contrast.

Entanglement concentration for non-maximally entangled states of qudits
TL;DR: In this article, a concentration protocol based on entanglement swapping of non-maximally entangled qudits via quantum state discrimination was proposed. But the success probability of the first scheme is equal to or larger than the success probabilities of the second scheme.

The Generalized Quantization Schemes for Games and its Application to Quantum Information
TL;DR: In this paper, a generalized quantization scheme for two-player non-zero sum games was proposed for quantum games and the effect of quantum correlated noise on quantum games was analyzed.

Wave-particle duality employing quantum coherence in superposition with non-orthogonal pointers
Sreetama Das,Chiranjib Mukhopadhyay,Sudipto Singha Roy,Samyadeb Bhattacharya,Aditi Sen De,Ujjwal Sen +5 more
TL;DR: The concept of non-orthogonal coherence for superpositions over states which are not necessarily mutually orthogonal was introduced in this article, and the concept of quantum coherence naturally furnishes us with a waveparticle duality in quantum double-slit experiments where the channels beyond the slits are leaky between them.

Minimum error discrimination of Pauli channels
TL;DR: In this paper, the problem of discriminating with minimum error probability two given Pauli channels was studied, and it was shown that the use of entanglement with an ancillary system can strictly improve the discrimination, and any maximally entangled state allows to achieve the optimal discrimination.

Formal state determination
TL;DR: Park and Band as discussed by the authors showed that any state of a quantal ensemble allowed by the Hilbert space formulation of nonrelativistic quantum mechanics can be determined from the results of measurements, under the assumption that all measurements, those of energy, position, and spin projection, are in accordance with the projection postulate.
