Wenn man davon ausgeht, das fur die Wirkung von Arzneimitteln auf die menschliche Frucht dosisabhangige Beziehungen bestehen, ergibt sich die grundsatzliche Frage, wieviel von dem Arzneimittel, welches einer Schwangeren verabfolgt wird, die Frucht erreicht. Anhand von insgesamt 505 legalen Schwangerschaftsunterbrechungen werden die Verteilung von 7 Sulfonamiden (Sulfacarbamid, Sulfisomidin, Sulfafurazol, Sulfadimidin, Sulfamethoxydiazin, Sulfamethoxypyridazin und Sulfadimethoxin) und die ihr zugrunde liegenden Gesetzmasigkeiten untersucht. Dabei zeigt sich, das damit zu rechnen ist, das samtliche Arzneimittel, welche sich im Blut der Schwangeren befinden, auch die menschliche Frucht in der Fruhschwangerschaft erreichen. Das Ausmas des Ubertrittes hangt dabei wesentlich von den physikalisch-chemischen und biologischen Eigenschaften der verabfolgten Substanzen ab. Da es moglich ist, die Arzneimittelverteilung in der Fruhschwangerschaft beim Menschen zu ermitteln, wird vorgeschlagen, bei teratologischen Tierexperimenten auch die Konzentration in Placenta und embryonalem Gewebe zu berucksichtigen. Es ist zu erwarten, das dann die Resultate von Tierexperimenten mehr mit den Beobachtungen beim Menschen ubereinstimmen, als dies jetzt der Fall ist.

Investigations have been made on the limit quantities of the applicability of lanthanum oxalate for the practically total retention of rare earth activities under given conditions of radiochemical group separation. The variation of the activity retention was studied by increasing the concentration of the investigated rare earth ions in the solution. The effect of the presence of another than the retained rare earth activity in the solution was also observed. Finally, the retention of scandium activity under the same conditions as those used for the rare earths was investigated.

Es wurden Korrosionsversuche mit Zinc 99,99 in destilliertem Wasser und in NaCl-Losungen mit 30; 90; 200 NaCl g/l bei 25° C durchgefuhrt. Die Menge des korrodierten Metalls wurde polarographisch nach einer Versuchsdauer von 20, 40, 80, 160, 320 min. festgestellt. Auserdem wurde jeweils der Sauerstoff- und Kohlendoxyd-Gehalt der verschiedenen Losungen bestimmt und das Potential der korrodierenden Zinkproben gemessen.



Die durchgefuhrten Versuche ergaben:



Die Korrosionsgeschwindigkeit des Zinks nimmt wahrend des Anfangsstadiums der Reaktion mit zunehmender NaCl-Konzentration der Losung zu.



Nimmt die Korrosionsgeschwindigkeit in einzelnen Fallen mit der Zeit ab, so last sich diese Abhangigkeit durch folgende empirische Gleichung beschreiben 








Das Potential der korrodierenden Versuchsprobe nimmt mit zunehmender NaCl-Konzentration und Versuchsdauer ab.



Die Uberprufung der Versuchsergebnisse nach der Formel von Nernst und Tafel weist aus, das der Anteil der Wasserstoffdepolarisation im untersuchten Korrosionsbereich nur gering ist. Hypothetische Polarisationskurven liesen den Einflus der NaCl-Konzentration auf die Korrosionsgeschwindigkeit erklaren.



Das Ansteigen der Zink-Korrosions-Geschwindigkeit in Losungen mit abnehmender Sauerstoffkonzentration deutet an, das die Mikroelemente in dem untersuchten System, bei Stromstarken, die unter der Sauerstoffgrenzstromstarke liegen, arbeiten.



Corrosion of zinc in sodium chloride solutions



Corrosion tests have been carried out with 99.99 pC zinc in distilled water and in NaCl solutions with 30, 90 and 200 gram of NaCl per litre at 250°C. The quantity of corroded metal was determined polarographically after tests lasting 20, 40, 80, 160 and 320 minutes. In addition, the oxygen and carbon dioxide content of the different solutions was determined, and the potential of the corroding zinc specimens was measured.



The tests had the following results:



The corrosion rate of zinc increases, during the initial stage of the reaction, with the increase of the NaCl concentration in the solution.



If the corrosion rate decreases in individual cases, this relationship can be expressed by the following empiric equation: 






where B ranges from 0 to 1.



The potential of the corroding test specimen decreases as the NaCl concentration increases.



The potential of the corroding test specimen also decreases with the time.



An examination of the test results on the strength of the Nernst-Tafel formula shows that the share of the hydrogen depolarisation is very small within the corrosion range investigated. By means of hypothetical polarisation curves, it was possible to explain the influence of the NaCl concentration on the corrosion rate.



The increase of the zinc-corrosion rate in solutions with decreasing oxygen concentration indicates that the micro-elements in the system investigated work at current values below the critical oxygen current.
