Effect of Blend Ratio on Adhesion Properties of Pressure-Sensitive Adhesives Prepared from SBR/SMR L Blends
Beng Teik Poh,S. S. Heng +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the viscosity, tack, and peel strength of an SBR/SMR L-based pressure-sensitive adhesive formulation was studied, where Coumarone-indene resin and toluene were used as the tackifier and solvent, respectively, throughout the experiment.

Viscoelastic and adhesive properties of PMMA-b-PtBA with tackifier
TL;DR: In this paper, a PMMA-b-PtBA diblock copolymer (B-16) was prepared by the anionic polymerization technique and compounded with various amounts of tackifier.

Viscoelastic properties and peel strength of water-borne acrylic PSAs for labels
TL;DR: The use of acrylic emulsion pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSAs) in labels continues to increase due to their environmental friendliness, good aging resistance and excellent processability during coating process as discussed by the authors.

Adhesion of an Elastomer Seal to Metal and its Mitigation with Atomic Oxygen Pretreatment
Marta B. Panickar,Janice L. Wasowski,Christopher C. Daniels +2 more
- 04 Jan 2011
TL;DR: To characterize the adhesion of a candidate docking seal, a subscale silicone elastomer seal assembly was evaluated, and tests showed that adhesion between the seal and its counter-face was greatest at −50 ◦ C, at an unacceptably high 1.4 kN.

Influence of isosorbide dinitrate concentration on its skin permeability from adhesive matrix devices.
TL;DR: The results suggest that the skin permeation of ISDN from adhesive matrix devices was controlled by the thermodynamic activity of the drug in the PSAs.
