P. A. M. Weiss
- 01 Jan 1988

TL;DR: In this paper, a growing body of evidence indicates that modifiable risk factors account for a substantial proportion of cases of Type 2 diabetes, and favorable modification of these risk factors by women with diabetes in conjunction with good glycemic control and appropriate additional pharmacologic therapy should reduce the risk of adverse health consequences.
