Abstract: We review the gauged U(1) clockwork models as portals for new physics to obtain effectively hierarchical couplings of the Standard Model (SM) particles from genuine couplings of order one. Nearest-neighbor mass mixings between multiple U(1) gauge bosons lead to the localization of the zero mode gauge boson, realizing the milicharged gauge boson in the effective theory. We discuss some of interesting examples utilizing the gauged clockwork beyond the SM.

Lectures on Physics Beyond the Standard Model.
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors give a brief overview on the successes and theoretical problems of the Standard Model and discuss the basics of low-scale supersymmetry, and address some of recent proposals for physics beyond the standard model and the connection to the production mechanisms for thermal dark matter.

Graviton phenomenology of linear dilaton geometries
TL;DR: In this article, the authors studied the graviton phenomenology in this scenario, allowing the dilaton slope to vary from the MeV to the TeV scale, and they presented experimental limits and calculated the ultimate reach of a 14 TeV LHC for all the above scenarios.

LSZ in LST
TL;DR: In this article, the analytic structure of off-shell correlation functions in LSTs using their description as asymptotically linear dilaton backgrounds of string theory is discussed.
Linear dilatons, NS5-branes and holography
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors argue that the vacua of string theory which asymptote at weak coupling to linear dilaton backgrounds are holographic, and that the full string theory in such vacua is ''dual'' to a theory without gravity in fewer dimensions.
SIMP dark matter with gauged Z 3 symmetry
Soo-Min Choi,Hyun Min Lee +1 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors considered a complex scalar field as SIMP dark matter in models with gauged Z − 3 discrete symmetry appearing as a remnant of dark local U(1) and showed that the large DM self-interactions are consistent with solving small-scale structure problems.
