Self‐diffusion of Cr and Fe in dual structure of NiFeCr polycrystals
TL;DR: In this paper, penetration profiles of 51Cr and 59Fe in polycrystalline austenitic alloys Ni-Fe-Cr after diffusion anneals at temperatures between 693 and 1208 K are studied.

Changes in the state of heat-resistant steel induced by repeated hot deformation
TL;DR: In this article, the distribution of internal residual stresses of the first kind during the repeated hot deformation was studied using X-ray dosimetry with Xray spectral analysis, and it was shown that after repeated thermal deformation, the sample under study transforms from a viscoelastic Maxwell material into a Kelvin-Voigt material, which facilitates structural stabilization.

Chemical diffusion and defect chemistry of grain boundaries in n-type barium titanate ceramics
Wolfgang Preis
- 06 May 2016
TL;DR: In this article, conductivity relaxation experiments have been performed on n-type barium titanate ceramics, co-doped with Y (donor) and Mn (acceptor), as a function of temperature (700 −900 °C) and oxygen partial pressure (0001 −10 bar) by employing the van der Pauw technique.

Phase transformations observed at the interfaces between crystalline grains in pure metals
TL;DR: Interfaces between the tiny crystal grains that make up solid copper have been shown to change from one ordered phase to another, independently of the phase adopted by the crystals, opening up prospects for materials development.
Grain boundary diffusion in a compositionally complex alloy: Interplay of segregation, precipitation and interface structures in a Ni–Cr–Mo alloy
Baixue Bian,Lana Söltzer,G. Mohan Muralikrishna,Shabnam Taheriniya,Sandipan Sen,K.C. Hari Kumar,Sindhuja Sankaran,Gerhard Wilde,Sergiy V. Divinski +8 more
TL;DR: Grain boundary diffusion in a Ni–Cr–Mo alloy is influenced by the interplay of segregation, precipitation and interface structures. The microstructure evolution and diffusion rates are controlled by the specific states of segregation-precipitation-structure achieved through annealing treatments.
