Abstract: The invention provides a file compression method, a file decompression method and electronic equipment. The file compression method comprises the steps that a compression request is received, whereinthe compression request comprises an encryption compression mode for at least part of files in a to-be-compressed file, and under the condition that the at least part of files are all files of the to-be-compressed file, at least two compression passwords are adopted in the encryption compression mode; and in response to the compression request, a compressed file comprising the to-be-compressed file is generated. Different compression modes can be adopted for the to-be-compressed file, a compressed file is generated, the convenience of file compression is improved, the system space of electronic equipment is saved, and the time of searching the compressed file by a user is prolonged.
