Abstract: Event cameras are new dynamic vision sensors that can get a more accurate perception in high-speed motion scenes and are more sensitive to light changes. Event information is difficult to use directly. However, more meaningful information can be extracted from events through visualization. To better use event cameras, visualization is the first problem to be solved. This paper presents a detailed comparison and analysis of the three most common existing methods for event visualization in terms of principles. Their advantages and disadvantages are also illustrated through experimental validation of existing datasets. This paper suggests improvement directions for existing visualization methods that can facilitate further research and application of event cameras.

TL;DR: In this article, an Address-Event Representation (AER) chip is proposed to generate events corresponding to changes in log intensity on a shared digital bus, where the resulting address-events are output asynchronously.
Computer Vision in Self-Steering Tractors
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors present an overview of vision-based tractor systems, including the system architecture, the safety of usage, the most commonly faced navigation errors, the navigation control system of tractors and state-of-the-art image processing algorithms for in-field navigation route mapping.
Computer Vision-Based Path Planning for Robot Arms in Three-Dimensional Workspaces Using Q-Learning and Neural Networks
TL;DR: Simulation and experimental test results revealed that the proposed combination of 3D object detection, an agent-environment interaction in the Q-learning phase, and simple joint angle computation by trained neural networks considerably alleviated the limitations of previous studies.
Silicon auditory processors as computer peripherals
TL;DR: In this article, an alternative output method for silicon auditory models, suitable for direct interface to digital computers, is described, as a prototype of an integrated circuit model of temporal adaptation in the auditory nerve that functions as a peripheral to a workstation running Unix.
