Abstract: Event cameras are new dynamic vision sensors that can get a more accurate perception in high-speed motion scenes and are more sensitive to light changes. Event information is difficult to use directly. However, more meaningful information can be extracted from events through visualization. To better use event cameras, visualization is the first problem to be solved. This paper presents a detailed comparison and analysis of the three most common existing methods for event visualization in terms of principles. Their advantages and disadvantages are also illustrated through experimental validation of existing datasets. This paper suggests improvement directions for existing visualization methods that can facilitate further research and application of event cameras.
