Hydrological simulation of ungauged basins via forcing by large‐scale hydrology models
Charalampos Skoulikaris,Michael Piliouras +1 more
TL;DR: Hydrological simulation of ungauged basins via forcing by large‐scale hydrology models provides a methodology for simulating ungauged hydrosystems using large-scale hydrological models and regionalizing the calibrated model to ungauged neighboring basins.

Performance evaluation of various hydrological models with respect to hydrological responses under climate change scenario: a review
Yilak Taye Bihon,Tarun Kumar Lohani,Abebe Temesgen Ayalew,Bogale Gebremariam Neka,Abdella Kemal Mohammed,Getachew Bereta Geremew,Elias Gebebeyhu Ayele +6 more
TL;DR: Multiple hydrological models have been reviewed for their performance in simulating streamflow and rainfall in Ethiopia. The SWAT model is commonly used and adaptable across various watersheds. However, no single model is superior to others. Multi-single model ensembles, coupling physical and conceptual models with machine learning, and comparisons with other models are recommended options.

Estimation of the daily flow in river basins using the data-driven model and traditional approaches: an application in the Hieu river basin, Vietnam
Chien PhamVan,Hien T. T. Le +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors presented the long short-term memory (LSTM), rating curve (RC), and rainfall-runoff model that can be used for estimating the daily flow at the outlet of river basins.

Study of stakeholders’ perceptions of climate change and its impact on mountain communities in central Himalaya, India
Ayushi Vijhani,Vinay Shankar Prasad Sinha,Chandrashekhar Azad Vishwakarma,Prashant Chandra Singh,Archit Pandey,Mini Govindan +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a semi-structured questionnaire survey was carried out at 253 locations in the entire state of Uttarakhand that included three stakeholder groups, namely water resource managers, tribal communities, and local people.

Performance evaluation and parameters sensitivity of a distributed hydrological model for a semi-arid catchment in India
V. D. Loliyana,Prem Lal Patel +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a distributed physics based hydrological model, MIKE SHE coupled with MIKE 11, is calibrated using multi-objective approach, i.e., minimization of error in prediction of stream flows and groundwater levels, using the data of eight years from 1991 to 1998 of Yerli sub-catchment.
Evaluation of Conceptual Hydrological Models in Data Scarce Region of the Upper Blue Nile Basin: Case of the Upper Guder Catchment
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors compared the performance of the Veralgemeend Conceptueel Hydrologisch (VHM) and NedborAfstromnings Model (NAM) hydrological models in predicting streamflow.

Lumped conceptual hydrological model for Purna river basin, India
V. D. Loliyana,Prem Lal Patel +1 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a lumped conceptual hydrological model, NAM (MIKE11), is calibrated while optimizing the runoff simulations on the basis of minimization of percentage water balance (% WBL) and root mean square error (RMSE) using measured stream flow data of eight years from 1991 to 1998 for Yerli catchment (area = 15,701 km2) of upper Tapi basin, Maharashtra in Western India.
