Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an error correction device which is reduced in processing delay by efficiently judging the propriety of correction when the reliability of communication information is improved by using an error correction code and an error detection code together. CONSTITUTION:In a reception processing part 2, the pseudo syndrome corresponding to a syndrome for detection is calculated backward from the syndrome for correction that a syndrome generation part 21 for error correction generates. By comparing the pseudo syndrome with the syndrome for detection that a syndrome generation part 22 for error detection generates, the propriety of a correction is judged.

Radio communication apparatus suppressing correction error while maintaining communication quality, and method and program for error correction
Masashi Iwami,Takeo Miyata,Tadayoshi Ito +2 more
- 05 Nov 2004
TL;DR: In this paper, an error detection unit detects a level of a received signal and an error correction unit performs error correction of the received signal only when the error detector detects an error and the level detected by the RSSI detection unit is not lower than a predetermined value.

- 26 Mar 2012
TL;DR: In this paper, a system and method for signature-based redundancy comparison provides for receiving, by a master part, an input signal and generating a binary output signal, generating a delayed input signal based on the input signal, and generating an error signal, where the state of the error signal is based upon the comparison.

Data error correction apparatus
Nobuaki Noguchi,Takahiro Watanabe +1 more
- 18 Feb 2000
TL;DR: A data error correction apparatus includes sixteen units of syndrome calculators for calculating syndromes of one code word of an octuple error-correcting Reed-Solomon code, and these calculators comprise Galois field adders, flip-flops, and first constant multipliers for calculating elements of Galois fields, respectively as discussed by the authors.

- 20 Apr 2006
TL;DR: In this article, the authors propose a table with a cover member 7 and a grounding member 33 which can be lifted up/down relative to the leg pole 3 to prevent the cords disposed downward in the leg poles from being obstacles for users.
