TL;DR: In this paper, a two-dimensional electrodynamic model is used to solve the distribution of accelerating electric fields with electron and positron pair creation and radiation processes in the magnetic meridional plane.

Hsiang-Kuang Chang,J. Y. Hsiang,Che-Yen Chu,Yun-Hsin Chung,Tze-Hsiang Su,Tzu Hsuan Lin,Chien-You Huang +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the spectral power index of the power-law component of a pulsar was found to be strongly correlated with the highest possible electric field strength in the polar gap, Epc, of the pulsar.

What Pulsar High-Energy Emission Model Survives?
Kouichi Hirotani
- 01 Jan 2011
TL;DR: In this paper, a self-consistent treatment of pair production was proposed to solve the Boltzmann equations simultaneously in the magnetosphere of a rapidly rotating neutron star (NS).

On the light curve and spectra of x-rays and gamma-rays from the Crab pulsar
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a three-dimensional pulsar magnetosphere model to study the light curve and spectra of x-rays and gamma-rays from the Crab pulsar, where the vertical size of the outer gap is first determined by a self-consistent model in which the inner gap is limited by pair production from collisions of thermal photons produced by polar cap heating of backflow outer gap current and curvature photons emitted by gap accelerated charged particles.

Magnetosphere Structure and the Annular Gap Model of Pulsars
Guojun Qiao,Kejia Lee,Hong-Guang Wang,R. X. Xu +3 more
- 01 Jan 2009
TL;DR: In this article, the annular gap model was proposed for radio and γ-ray observations of PSR B1055-52, and it was shown that radiations come from the core region and annular region.
