Influence of particle properties on the viscosity of polymer-alumina composites
TL;DR: In this paper, the influence of different micro-and nanosized alumina fillers, dispersed in an unsaturated polyester resin as polymer matrix, on the resulting composite flow behavior was investigated systematically.

Importance and potential of cellulosic materials and derivatives in extrusion-based 3D concrete printing (3DCP): Prospects and challenges
TL;DR: New ideas for the viable use of CMs and derivatives in extrusion-based 3DCP (E-3DCP) are presented and recommendations are drawn as benchmarks for future research and development.

TL;DR: In this paper, a combination of in situ extended x-ray absorption fine-structure spectroscopy (EXAFS), ex situ transmission electron microscopy (TEM) measurements, and NP shape modeling revealed a cross over from positive to negative thermal expansion with decreasing particle size, size and shape-dependent changes in the mean square bond-projected bond-length fluctuations, and enhanced Debye temperatures with a bimodal size-dependence for NPs in the size range of ∼0.8-5.4 nm.
Removal of pollutants from aqueous product of Co-hydrothermal liquefaction: Adsorption and isotherm studies.
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the sorption mechanism of oxidizable reducing pollutants measured as chemical oxygen demand (COD); heavy metals (boron and copper); and phenols from ACP samples obtained from co-HTL of brewery trub (BT), and primary sludge (PS) onto granular and powdered activated carbon (GAC and PAC).

Tuning composition and microstructure by doping Ti and C for enhancing mechanical property and wear resistance of Al0.2Co1.5CrFeNi1.5Ti0.5 high entropy alloy matrix composites
TL;DR: In this paper, in-situ synthesized TiC reinforced Al0.5 high entropy alloy matrix composites with adding Ti and C elements by the molar ratio of 1:1.
